The earlier batch is sharper and lasts well (6 sprays = all day during work). The latter batch is far softer/more rounded and lasts marginally less. It doesn't have the atrocious longevity that some seem to suggest.
The 2017 batches and onwards aren't weak at all, it was 2015-2016. I hate obsessing over reformulations but my 2017 bottle actually projects for a good 3 hours and lasts 10. I recently purchased a vintage bottle of YSL La Nuit De L'Homme online from an individual and I wanted to get second opinions on its authenticity. The batch code on the bottom of the bottle is 62K800, which shows a 2013-08 production date on checkfresh.La Nuit de l'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent is a sophisticated and alluring fragrance. It begins with a fresh and spicy blend of cardamom and bergamot. The heart features warm notes of cedarwood and lavender, adding a rich, aromatic quality. La Nuit de L'Homme Eau de Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men. La Nuit de L'Homme Eau de Parfum was launched in 2019. Top notes are Cardamom and Grapefruit; middle notes are Leather, Lavender and Clary Sage; base notes are Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vetiver.
