H24 Herbes Vives, available since February 5th, 2024, in all the brand's points of sale. The latest flanker that I thought I prefer it vs the -amazing- original is Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Parfum while Guerlain Vetiver Parfum is also a really good one even compared to the ultra-classic original. This fragrance alone marks the trend for flankers - from lighter, casual fragrances designed to accompany the original release, to heavier, darker, more bombastic, spicier, base-heavy scents that may or may not have a clear connection to the original release. Hermes’ L’Eau des Merveilles is a great scent, but imho the Elixir des Merveilles is even better with the gourmand notes. At least it suits me better. I don’t know if it counts as a flanker, but I prefer the Chanel No 5 EDT to the (presumably) .

In my opinion, the original is still the best, but if you are willing to explore this line further, then check these out: Terre d’Hermes Parfum – a woody chypre perfume released in 2009. The main notes include Orange, Woods, and Oakmoss. There are flankers that I like better than the pillar fragrance (L'Eau de Chloé, The Body Shop White Musk Libertine, Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche). Flankers can bring about a new appreciation for the pillar scent ( Thierry Mugler's Angel Liqueur de Parfum and A*Men Pure Coffee spring to mind) or carry a classic perfume into the modern .
